Autumn 1 - Castles

This half term, Holly class have learnt lots about castles. We learnt about the different features of castles, the history of castles and compared the features of Bedford Castle to the features of Matsumoto Castle in Japan. 

We also learnt about the Battle of Hastings, and even re-enacted it in the playground!

We also made our own castles in art - don't they look amazing?

In computing we were learning to be astronauts and programme our spaceships to fly to different planets.

We have also had a lot of fun learning to play recorders in music and working on our team building skills in P.E.

We are looking forward to next half term when our topic will be Muck, Mess and Mixtures!
