Welcome to Year 6's class page. This is somewhere for us to share useful information and important updates. As a general rule, if you need it, it will be on here. Having said that, if there is anything else that you would like to see on here, please let us know.

Monday 11th May to Thursday 14th May
During SATs Week, we will be opening a ‘Year 6 Breakfast Café’ from 8.10am, Monday to Thursday. At the café, children will be able to enjoy a breakfast of pastries, cereal, toast, fruit and fruit juices. The Breakfast Café is FREE to all Year 6 pupils, however if you would like to make a voluntary contribution of any amount up to £5, it would be gratefully received.
Please complete the appropriate form below by Monday 4th May to help us ensure that we have enough food for each morning.
Eagle Class: Y6 BREAKFAST CAFE - Monday 11th to Thursday 14th May (Eagle Class) – Fill in form
Hawk Class: Y6 BREAKFAST CAFE - Monday 11th to Thursday 14th May (Hawk Class responses) – Fill in form
PGL meeting: Tuesday 19th May at 3.30pm (in Hawk Class)
PGL trip: Wednesday 24th June - Friday 26th June
We are currently busy planning a fun few days for those children not going to PGL.
As part of this, we will be taking the children to Kemspton Outdoor Centre on Thursday 25th June. Here they will be able to take part in a range of outdoor and adventurous activities (these will be confirmed nearer the time)
Thanks to a very generous donation from Friends of Balliol, we have managed to reduce the voluntary contribution from parents to only £22.50, which is half the total cost. Whilst we appreciate that these contributions are voluntary, without a sufficient number of these, the trip may not be able to go ahead.
Further details will be sent nearer the time, but please complete the permission form ASAP and send any voluntary contributions into school by Friday 5th June.

It was great to see so many of you at our SATs meetings. If you were unable to come, or if you want to look back at anything we talked about, the presentation we used can be found here:
