Welcome to Year 6's class page. This is somewhere for us to share useful information and important updates. As a general rule, if you need it, it will be on here. Having said that, if there is anything else that you would like to see on here, please let us know.

Year 6 Parent Consultations
Parent consultations will take place on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th October between 3.40 and 5.40.
These appointments will be face-to-face and will give you the opportunity to discuss your child's progress in Year 6, as well as looking at some of the work that they have already completed. (Please note that meetings will be restricted to 10 minutes each, to allow enough time slots for all parents to access them.)
To book a meeting, please complete the relevant form below as soon as possible, as appointments will be made on a first come, first served basis.

Y6 Homework - Atom Learning: FREE parent/carer account
Year 6 have now started to use the online platform 'Atom Learning' and a number of children are unable to access their account at home. This means that they are unable to complete the homework that has been set for them.
A few weeks ago, we sent out details explaining how to set up your FREE parent/guardian account. This needs to be set up to allow you to track your child's progress on the activities set, but also to allow your child to access their activities outside school hours.
If you haven't already done this, please see the documents below, which explain the process. It is very easy and will take no longer than a couple of minutes. Please note that you will need your child's login details to do this. These are in their planners.

Secondary School Admissions
The application process for secondary school admissions is now open.

The deadline for applications is 31st OCTOBER 2025. Please ensure you have applied for your child’s place at secondary school by then.

Year 6 pupils and their families are invited to Bedford Academy's Open Evening on Wednesday, 1st October from 6pm – 8:30pm.
