This term's topic is "Potions". We will be reading Harry Potter and use this text to produce some amazing pieces of descriptive writing. The children will have the opportunity to design and make their own potions, applying their creativity. In science, we will focus on the states of matter – solids, liquids, and gases – and how they relate to potion-making. In art, students will create their own potion bottles using clay, design packaging for their bottles, and assemble their finished products. This topic will combine storytelling, science, and art to give a well-rounded learning experience.
