Science Project: Watching Our Sunflowers Grow 🌻

This term in science, we have been learning all about plants and what they need to grow. As part of our lessons, each of us planted our own sunflowers and are closely observing their growth.

    What Plants Need to Grow:

    • Sunlight: Plants use sunlight to make their food through photosynthesis. Sunflowers love sunlight, which helps them grow tall and strong.

    • Water: Water is essential for plants to stay healthy and transport nutrients from the soil.

    • Soil: Healthy soil provides the minerals and nutrients plants need to grow.

    • Air: Plants need carbon dioxide from the air to make food and oxygen to breathe.

    • Space: Plants need enough room for their roots and leaves to spread.
