Friends of Balliol:
  • We are always seeking volunteers to help with activities and fundraising. We welcome parents, staff and members of the community at our half termly meetings. If you would like to become a member or have any suggestions or ideas about fund raising (or where the money might be spent), please do not hesitate to contact any of the committee or alternatively drop a note into the school office for the attention of FOB.

Balliol Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, motivated, enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our friendly, hard-working KS2 team on a fixed term basis to provide maternity cover to a Y4 class. The post is required from September 2018 for one term initially.

The governors of Balliol Primary School are looking for an EYFS teacher to join our enthusiastic team from September 2018. Applications are especially welcome from NQTs and from teachers in their first few years of teaching who would like to be part of this team, helping pupils to develop and progress in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment.


There could be some flexibility for the right candidate as to which year group you will be teaching.
