Reception

Our topic this half term is: Did dragons exist?

- To earn your fantastic news you need to find a story with a dragon in it.
- To earn a head teachers award, you need to make up your own fairy story to tell to the class.

Parent Note - w/c 22.01.18

This week we will learning to tell the story of Winnie’s Midnight Dragon. The children will be encouraged to join in with the story telling by using a story map. The children will be using their knowledge of sounds to write simple sentences and words.

In Maths the children will be continuing to develop their number knowledge and looking at numbers 1 more/ 1 less than a given number. The children will also be ordering three different masses.

The children will continue to develop their narrative dance in P.E.

The children will be thinking about what makes a ‘good learner’ this week. Mrs Francis continues to join us to play the keyboard to accompany our singing.
